Local 489 has jurisdiction within a 50 mile radius of Pittsburgh (from City Hall) with a boundary to the west at the state line. Periodically productions will wander outside that jurisdiction and it is important to report that to your Business Agent so that they can communicate with our neighboring locals and the production. When we work outside our jurisdiction, we may be eligible for higher pay, travel stipends and hotel rooms.
